The Bootham Tavern - York

Everything was good, welcoming stuff, fantastic location close to the Art Gallery, Museum Gardens and St Mary's Abbey as well as the centre of York. Booked the English breakfast with fried egg and cereal in kids variety packs, as for instance, it was incredible.

I appreciated rooms and service, they were nice. There were cereals and pudding in the bar.

It had every detail we needed, we appreciated staff and location. Plenty of goodies for breakfast.

Can honestly say there wasn't anything not to like.

This hotel is little, has pleasant staff and a gorgeous breakfast.

The hotel is clean, with attentive personal, and offers brilliant location not far from pub. Thank you, it was a really great experience.

It was an OUTSTANDING experience, I loved location and staff. Bed was very clean, and the room itself was gorgeous. Set in awesome area, restaurants and pubs were close to the hotel.

Nothing too much trouble, the venue met requirements, would recomand it. It was themed in bath, good enough for celebrating birthday.

it was a brilliant stay. the place was spotlessly clean and staff were hospitable, i liked decent location. their breakfast was tasty and had variety of food. easy walk to an art gallery and a museum.

Immaculate room in an unbeatable location, nice stay overall. Had hot drinks in the downstairs bar in the evening. In addition, the parking was on-site. Pizzeria La Bodrum was located 5 minutes walk away.

Everything was perfect, fantastic value. We liked great staff and rooms.

The breakfast was fine, the staff was fabulous, the grounds were fairly clean. Central location, not too far from botanic gardens. Beautifully designed unit with a modern decor.

The nicest place to stay when travelling to York. The breakfast was very tasty, the personnel was beautiful, the bed was exceptionally comfortable. We loved warm drinks at the downstairs bar. The staff did all they can for a great stay.

The whole place was fairly clean, I enjoyed it, and had beautiful staff and location. The beds were lovely, I slept well. They made my stay fabulous! It was across the very lively area.

Everything created a superb atmosphere.

We think it's the best base for staying in York. Only 5 min walk to downtown. The restaurant was located within 200 metres...

We loved our stay in this superior hotel with the loyal staff. Don't forget to visit nearby Bettys Cafe Tea Rooms, they have best coffee ever. Flexible check in and brilliant check out.
